1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Invio ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Description of service
Invio provides online invoicing software for Australian businesses, including:
- Creating and sending invoices and quotes
- Managing clients
- Tracking payments
- Generating PDF invoices and quotes
- Automated reminders and recurring billing features
- AI-assisted features, including voice-to-invoice drafting, where available on your plan
AI features and accuracy
Some features use artificial intelligence (for example, voice-to-invoice) to generate drafts. AI can make mistakes. Every AI-generated draft must be reviewed and confirmed by you before it is sent. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any invoice, quote, or other document you send, including amounts, client details, and GST treatment. Invio does not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose, and any AI-generated summaries or suggestions are not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Use of AI features is subject to the fair-use limits shown in-product, and we may change or withdraw AI features at any time.
Xero sync (optional)
If you connect Invio to your Xero organisation, Invio copies the invoices you send, the payments and credit notes that go with them, and your clients’ contact details into that organisation, as the settings you choose say. You choose the organisation, the accounts and tax rates it uses, and when it starts.
- The sync is a convenience. Your Invio documents remain the record of what you sent to your clients. You are responsible for checking what arrives in Xero, and for your tax returns and your accountant’s records. The sync is not accounting, tax or financial advice.
- Invoices you sent before you connected are not copied unless you choose to send them.
- Invio does not delete, void or change anything in Xero except as a result of a step you take in Invio, such as voiding an invoice or removing a payment. When you disconnect, it asks Xero to remove its own connection.
- Xero can refuse an item, for example because the period is locked or the number is already used. Invio then shows what Xero said and leaves the item for you; it does not retry for ever.
- We may pause or stop the sync, for example if Xero changes or withdraws access, or if the connection is removed on Xero’s side. Documents already in Xero stay there.
- Your use of Xero is under your own agreement with Xero. Xero is a trademark of Xero Limited. Invio is an independent product and is not endorsed by, or affiliated with, Xero.
3. User accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
- One person or business per account
4. Subscription plans
Starter plan (free)
- No monthly subscription fee
- Core invoicing features (including recurring/reminders) as currently offered in-product
- No credit card required to start
Pro plan (A$19 AUD/month)
- Advanced operational features and premium capabilities as listed in-product
Growth plan (A$59 AUD/month)
- Advanced operational features and premium capabilities as listed in-product
Care plan (A$79 AUD/month including 3 workers)
- The Care plan is for Australian businesses that provide NDIS supports with a team. It is sold in Australia only. What it includes is listed on our pricing page and in the product.
- The price is A$79 AUD a month including 3 workers, then A$8 a worker for workers 4 to 10, A$7 for 11 to 30, A$6 from the 31st. You are charged only for the workers you have.
- A worker counts from the day you invite them. An invitation that expires or is cancelled stops counting, and so does a person you remove. A person who works for more than one of your businesses counts once, and people on a business you have archived do not count.
- The number of workers we bill for follows your worker count. When it changes, the difference for the rest of the billing period is worked out pro rata and added to your next monthly invoice. Your card is not charged at the moment you invite or remove someone.
Add-on modules
Some features are sold as add-ons to a paid plan. Your add-ons are a separate subscription from your plan, billed monthly in the currency of your business. If you add or remove an add-on part-way through a month, the difference for the rest of that month is worked out pro rata and added to your next monthly invoice.
- Extra business: Open another business under the same login, up to 5 in all. Each keeps its own invoices, clients, bank details and branding. A$9 AUD a month each. Can be added to Pro, Growth and Care.
- Lead form: A "Request a Quote" form for your website. Enquiries land in your Enquiries inbox and become draft quotes. A$9 AUD a month. Can be added to Pro, Growth and Care.
- Projects Pro: Budgets and profit by job on top of Projects and time. A$9 AUD a month. Included in Growth and Care. Can be added to Pro.
- Xero sync: Invoices you send in Invio appear in your Xero file by themselves. A$10 AUD a month. Included in Care. Can be added to Pro and Growth.
- Claims pack: The NDIS support catalogue, plan budgets and claim files. A$19 AUD a month. Included in Care. Can be added to Pro and Growth.
- Extra team seat: Another person on your team, beyond the seats your plan includes. A$9 AUD a month each. Can be added to Growth and Care.
You can cancel an add-on at any time: it keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. Add-ons are for accounts on a paid plan, so if your paid plan ends, your add-ons end with it. A feature that your plan already includes is not sold again, and if a change of plan makes an add-on you bought part of your plan, we remove it from your add-on subscription so you do not pay for it twice. When an add-on ends we do not delete the records you made with it, but the feature stops being available to you. The price changes clause in this section applies to add-ons as it does to plans.
Plan features may evolve over time. The features included in each plan are listed on our pricing page and in the product.
Price changes. We may change the prices we offer to new customers. We will not raise the price of a subscription you already have while it continues: you keep paying the price you subscribed at for as long as you stay subscribed. An introductory price ends on the date, and at the price, shown when you subscribed. If you cancel and subscribe again later, the price on offer at that time applies, except where we have promised your account an earlier price.
5. Payment terms and user liability
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
- Card payments are processed through third-party providers (including Stripe Connect).
- A platform/processing fee may apply to card transactions as disclosed in-product at the time of payment.
- The currency and amount you are charged are the ones shown at checkout for your plan. For this site, that currency is Australian Dollars (AUD). Invio is not registered for GST in Australia or in New Zealand, so no GST is added to the price of your subscription.
- Refunds are provided at our discretion unless required by law.
Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of payment destination details (including bank account details) before issuing invoices. Invio is not liable for misdirected funds, delayed payments, chargebacks, or losses arising from incorrect payment details entered by users.
Invio is a software platform and not a bank, payment institution, or financial adviser. Payment provider availability, settlement timing, and payment rail rules may vary by provider and may change over time.
6. Cancellation and account deletion
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your billing period. No refunds for partial months. Cancelling a subscription moves your account to the free plan - it does not delete your account or your data.
Deleting your data is a separate step, and you start it yourself in Settings. When you request account deletion we schedule it for 30 days later and email you the date. You can cancel the deletion at any time before that date by signing in and cancelling it in Settings. After that date your account and its data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it in billing first. Export anything you need to keep before the date - see our Privacy Policy for what we retain.
If you keep care records or worker records in Invio (progress notes, incidents, worker screenings and credentials, shifts and hours), you as the provider are responsible for keeping the records the law requires; Invio deletes them 30 days after you delete your account, and offers you a full export first.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Upload malicious content
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Resell or redistribute the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service
- Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent the usage limits of AI features
9. Data and privacy
Your data belongs to you. We process data as described in our Privacy Policy. We use industry-standard security measures and do not sell your data to third parties. Where you use AI features, your data is processed by our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy, including that it is not used to train AI models and that some processing occurs overseas.
10. Intellectual property
Invio and its content are owned by Bakhtiyar Duganov trading as Invio. You retain ownership of your business data, invoices, and quotes. You grant us license to store and process your data to provide the Service.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invio (Bakhtiyar Duganov) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. In no event shall the aggregate liability of Invio exceed the greater of one hundred Australian dollars (AUD $100) or the amount you paid Invio, if any, in the past six months.
Australian customers: nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Invio against claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we publish the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Where a change is significant, we may also flag it in the app.
If you continue using Invio after updated Terms are published, you accept them. No change to these Terms can raise the price of a subscription you already have (section 4).
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and disputes will be resolved in New Zealand courts. This does not limit any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified, which continues to apply regardless of the governing law of this contract.
